A Researcher's Secrets from the Archives & Beyond
Virtual Event
Free for members | $5 per screen for non-members
Join Kristie Wolferman, author of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art: A History, and Senior Museum Archivist Tara Laver to discuss the book, Wolferman’s experiences researching the museum’s history, stories that surprised her, and questions that still linger for her. Along the way, attendees will learn about the fascinating combination of people, events, and circumstances that make up the museum’s history, from its founding to the present day.
This virtual lecture and conversation will take place on Zoom webinar. During the program, you won’t be able to see or hear fellow participants. There will be an opportunity for Q&A after the presentation.
You can purchase a copy of the book at the Museum Store in-person or online.
One ticket equals one link to watch the program; multiple people may watch the program together. Tickets are based on the number of device logins for Zoom, not the number of people sharing a screen. You will receive the zoom webinar information on your mobile ticket. A reminder email with the Zoom link will be sent to all ticket holders the morning of the event.
Be sure to Login to get tickets using the primary email address associated with your membership to enjoy this event for free. If you cannot register online, please contact membership@nelson-atkins.org or call 816.751.1278.
