This two-part program traces the life and times, and the artistic lineage of Katsushika Hokusai, the great Japanese artist, teacher, and showman. Hokusai’s influence stretched across genres and generations of students and rivals, ultimately swelling to a global level with his iconic print commonly called the Great Wave. Take a deep dive into one topic in the first session, then get creative in the style and spirit of Hokusai in the second session. All supplies provided.
