Celebrated for his large-format color photographs, renowned photographer Joel Sternfeld came to prominence in the mid-1980s for American Prospects, a groundbreaking body of work that explored the contemporary landscape as a reflection of American identity during the Reagan era. Sternfeld will discuss these photographs, the stories behind them, and their continued relevance in our own time.
