Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939) was a prolific graphic artist and a pioneer of the Art Nouveau style. During this workshop, we’ll explore the special exhibition Timeless Mucha to learn about the evolution of Mucha’s art and his influence on later generations of artists. From 1970s album covers to contemporary street art, we’ll consider the connections between Art Nouveau and 20th-century visual culture.
