What does “make it new” mean in art and music? How did artists and composers experience and express seismic shifts in society wrought by revolution, war, and industrialization? Join UMKC Conservatory musicians to explore cultural, critical, and emotional convergences between visual art and music. This final concert in a series of three invites you into the artistic and sensory meeting ground of early 20^th century artists and composers who dared to break from tradition and innovate entirely new forms of expression.

 

The concert series takes place on Fridays, April 5 and April 19. Each hour-long concert is presented twice in one evening, at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Select the time that works best for you.
